Green, alongside blue, has always been seen as a popular color to choose if you are looking for a calming color to paint your room.  Much like the soothing serenity of the forest, bring the outdoors indoors with the help of using green as a part of your interior design.  If you were to paint your room green, expect approximately 7 hours and 36 minutes of sleep every night.

The 3 Worst Bedroom Paint Colors


As another skeptical color that you would generally assume would give you the most amount of sleep per night, grey is ranked as the third worst color to use for your interior design scheme.  Although the difference in sleep gathered between blue and grey is a mere 1 hour and 20 minutes, those with grey rooms slept approximately 6 hours and 12 minutes every night.


Any hue of brown can be seen as detrimental to the amount of sleep that you get every night as home owners with brown paint in their bedroom only received approximately 6 hours and 5 minutes of sleep nightly.


Who would have thought that this incredibly popular royal shade would be the worst color to paint your bedroom?  Purple comes in last place for the best colors to paint your room by providing only 5 hours and 56 minutes of sleep per night.
